At the time it seemed like a good idea. You are no longer using that somewhat obsolete program stored on your computer’s desktop. You might as well make a little space by deleting it. Unfortunately, moments after you deleted the program, you remember that many of your stored files needed that particular program to open them. This happens often when using specific versions of drawing files such as Corel or Photoshop. This also happens when we save word processor documents in a variety of formats, such as AbiWord or old Word Perfect files. Now you must figure out how to undelete programs that turn out to be absolutely required. Even though these programs are huge collections of files in a specified folder structure, File Finder can recover them for you.
The first steps to recovering your files
To undelete programs using File Finder you will definitely want to download the File Finder installation package on to a spare computer to begin with. You will not use this spare computer for anything other than to create the unique and powerful File Finder recovery disk. Unlike low quality conventional data recovery programs that require you to remove your hard drive and connect it to a spare computer by means of cables, File Finder only uses a friend’s computer for a few minutes.
After you download the File Finder installation package, the install will also start you out on the process of burning a special CD or DVD (your choice). This File Finder recovery disk will be loaded into the disk drive of the computer on which you need to undelete programs. File Finder will start that computer without accessing its base Windows operating system. This is an important feature that only File Finder has and it allows you to start up your computer with no risk of ever overwriting existing files on your computer’s hard drive. File Finder starts up your computer using its own standalone operating system. Once the system loads you can use the basic start menu to load the File Finder data recovery program. You will then use the default settings of File Finder that search through your computer’s internal hard drive and return to you a list of all recently deleted programs and files.
When you use File Finder for general purpose data recovery, one of its special features is the ability to recover deleted files with the original folder structure intact. This means that after simply directing the File Finder program to search through your computer’s entire hard drive, you need only locate the folder into which your deleted program was placed. File Finder lists all recovered files and folders by their original file names. You can either manually scroll down the list of recoverable files until you find your program or type the folder name into the File Finder search box for instant sorting. Once you locate your program folder, check the select box and click on recover files. That folder and all of the files hidden within it will be instantly recovered to new safe storage on your computer’s desktop or in any folder you choose.
