Windows NT marked a groundbreaking development for the Windows operating system. While the graphic user interface was not appreciably improved over Windows 98, Windows NT presented the world a new hard drive file storage system. The NT files system, now known simply as NTFS became and continues to be the standard by which data storage and retrieval is judged. File types stored in NTFS hard drives can be divided into two groups. These are standard information files such as documents and images that you have saved, and operational files which allow you to access all of the stored information. Generally speaking when we need to undelete NTFS files we can be referring to either of these file types. However, the process to undelete NTFS differs greatly depending on which type of file you are planning to retrieve. To undelete files NTFS uses for access is somewhat impractical as those are files that cause hard drive crashes and negate startup of Windows. These files are better replaced by reloading your operating system than searched for and recovered.

Before one can reload the Windows operating system they must access their hard drive and copy out every file they may need. The process of reloading Windows deletes everything by reformatting all of the stored files. File Finder was developed expressly to handle this complicated challenge. Once loaded onto your computer File Finder will start your computer and allow you access for copying of any files stored. File Finder will even start Up your computer if the current version of Windows will start.
