If you’d like to restore deleted photos you’ll find there’s no better tool to do so with than File Finder. Most programs to restore deleted pictures ask you to download a program on to your computer’s hard drive. But in doing so you are very likely to download the program right on top of the segments of your hard drive holding your deleted pictures. The moment you do this, those pictures can never be recovered. Yes, those lesser photo recovery programs will retrieve deleted photos from external devices connected to your computer such as camera memory cards and SD cards, but they are unwise to use for any type of file recovery from your hard drive.
If you would like to restore image file information that that was accidentally deleted from your computer hard drive, you want to use File Finder. The File Finder photo recovery program is created by burning a simple CD or DVD on a second computer. This special file recovery disk is then loaded into the computer on which you plan to restore deleted photo files. The File Finder application does not load any information on to your computer’s hard drive hence there’s never a chance of overwriting the files you want to rescue.
