To recover pictures that have been damaged during download or accidentally deleted there is one program that is clearly superior. That program is File Finder. Many data recovery programs claim to be able to recover pictures that have been accidentally deleted or damaged during downloading. Only File Finder was specifically created to recover pictures from memory card storage. Using File Finder to recover pictures from SD card or other camera digital storage is remarkably simple. Load in to your desktop or laptop computer the special File Finder recovery disk. This will open up the File Finder program on your screen.
You may notice that your regular desktop and screen are not visible. This is because File Finder is a standalone application with its own operating system. The operating system which is a miniature version of Windows allows for faster and more complete scanning for lost picture files. If your files were last used or deleted from a camera memory card select on the File Finder drop down menu the drive showing the memory card. From the select options menu choose a fast or quick scan. After you press the find files button File Finder will go to work and within minutes will have located every picture file deleted from that hard. You may then preview your pictures to help you decide which ones if not all of the photos you wish to resave.
