The steps required to recover pictures from SD card storage are very easy to follow. We may assume that your digital image files stored on an SD memory card are either existing and simply waiting to be accessed or have been recently deleted. As long as you have not sent new pictures onto that card and overwritten the original image files, recovery of pictures on your SD card will be very easy. As with any data recovery situation we begin by loading into our computer’s CD/DVD disk drive the File Finder recovery disc. You will have made this disc from any blank CD or DVD by using the File Finder installation package. As with every phase of File Finder usage there are complete illustrated instructions for the process. Once you load the special recovery disk onto your computer, it will allow your computer to start using the proprietary File Finder Windows shell. Using this shell to load File Finder and run your computer protects against any chance of the file recovery software itself damaging stored files on your hard drive. Once the program has loaded, select from the drop down menu the drive containing your SD card. Click the find files button and within seconds any damaged or lost pictures originally stored on that SD card will be listed before you for recovery selection.
