An MMC or MultiMedia card is a flash memory digital storage card using a specified standard that allows it to integrate with a variety of digital devices such as video cameras, digital cameras and PDAs. This standard is almost identical to basic SD card design with the only difference being the amount of the actual physical connection remaining visible. A specific advantage of an MMC card is its slightly smaller physical size than that of a standard camera memory card. This allows it to be used for storage in devices such as mobile phones. File Finder always loads by means of your computer’s CD/DVD disk drive. We load File Finder this way so as to prevent any possibility of accidentally overwriting the very files we plan to recover. Once the File Finder program has been started, choose the drive holding your MMC card from the drop down select menu. Follow the illustrated File Finder instructions as to how to choose your recovery options. Then click on find files. In less than 5 minutes, any existing files or deleted files that were stored on your MMC card are made available on a list for recovery.
