An MMC or multimedia card is a simple solid state flash digital storage device intended for saving of image and other audiovisual files. Their initial use was made popular in mobile phones but we mostly see them used today in PDAs. That last point being noted, we often lose items on our PDAs due to accidental or premature deletion. If you have lost or deleted information on an MMC storage card, a simple means of recovery is available. FileFinder the world’s most versatile file rescue tool has been designed to accommodate fast and easy MMC data recovery. As when attempting file recovery on any solid state digital storage media your first step will be to insert the memory card into a reader connected to your computer by means of a USB Port or directly into the slot many computers have which is designed expressly for this purpose.

Once the card is inserted into your computer, load the FileFinder recovery disc into your computer’s CD/DVD disk drive and restart your unit. Doing so will start up your computer using a built in miniature Windows operating system. Once the OS loads choose from the start menu the recovery program and open it. Next you may opt to click on the bright blue help button on the FileFinder program and follow its illustrated instructions or simply choose from the drop down menu the location of your MMC card and click on the find files button directly to the right of that menu. Because MMC digital media cards are relatively small in storage size, your device will be completely search through and scanned in under 1 minute. The results of the scan will be an itemized list of all files found on that device including any that have been recently deleted. You can choose from this list any or all files for MMC data recovery to your computer’s hard drive or any external digital storage.
