iPods and other music players are great fun and very convenient. The average MP3 player holds around 2000 songs and videos. They are the ultimate personal jukebox. But songs on an iPod also represent a considerable investment. With prices for iTunes music averaging $1.00 per song, you can quickly build up an inventory worth well over $1000. When you consider how easy it is to accidentally delete these songs, you may well appreciate the need for quality iPod recovery software.
Fortunately you will not need to purchase a program built only for this purpose. Any quality file recovery program such as File Finder can access the stored digital music files on your player. Simply connect your iPod or other music player to your computer by means of a USB drive port. This is the same place you use to both charge your iPod and to transfer music to it. If you have loaded File Finder onto your computer, select from the drop down menu the drive holding your iPod. Simply click find files and every song stored on your iPod including those that have been recently deleted will be presented to you on a list. Look over the list for any missing songs and select them for recovery. File Finder will then resave those songs to a folder on your computer.
