But, we will attempt to give you a brief synopsis for the sole purpose of allowing you a glimpse of the ease of use that FileFinder allows. The first step in rescuing lost folders and files is to download onto any friend’s or spare PC the installation package. This includes an image file, a free CD burning tool and instructions on how to combine the two. The instructions will show you how to burn your own special recovery disc. This disc can be made using any writable CD or DVD. Once you create the special disc loaded into the CD/DVD drive of any computer from which you need to retrieve files, FileFinder will then automatically start your computer using its built-in miniature version of Windows.
It is important to note that even if your computer has been displaying a blue Windows error screen or has a crashed hard drive, FileFinder will still be able to start up your PC. Once your computer has started, use the program menu to start the recovery application itself. At this point you will click on the bright blue help and instructions button. This will open up easy to understand step by step illustrated instructions designed to guide you through any level of file recovery.
