If you are staring at a black or blue Windows error screen, do not assume that your computer is actually damaged. Yes, most people do make this assumption and think that the Windows error screen or the failure of Windows to completely load without freezing means that the computer has suffered a physical breakdown. This is actually rarely the case. When a computer, either desktop or laptop, fails to successfully load the Windows operating system it usually, that is in 99% of cases, has merely suffered what is known as a logic crash.
And what is a logic crash? All a logic crash means is that somehow during startup or shutdown of your computer several files needed to direct your computer were slightly damaged. As a consequence Windows will not load and your computer will not start. Whenever you see one of these error messages you can repair that damage yourself by reloading the Windows operating system. However, reloading Windows erases all of your stored files. Before you reload Windows you must use File Finder for hard disk recovery. The File Finder program will start any Windows based PC using its own built in operating system, so that even if your computer is displaying the famous Windows blue screen of death error message, File Finder will start your computer and allow you to copy from its hard disk drive any saved files.
