The difference between flash memory and conventional hard disk memory is that flash memory eschews the use of a rotating magnetic platter in favor of an integrated circuit silicon chip. Because the IC has no moving parts it is virtually impervious to breakdown and delivers return of stored files at a far greater speed than that of a conventional hard drive. At the present time most flash card memory devices range in size from one to 32 GB. While this is not near the size of a standard 640 GB hard disk drive it is still extraordinarily convenient for storage and transfer of large amounts of data. Another great advantage of flash card digital information storage is that flash card data recovery is faster and a more definitive process.

To use File Finder for flash card recovery, simply plug your digital storage device AKA flash card into your computer and load File Finder by means of the special recovery disk. Once the File Finder program loads, choose from the drop down menu the illustrated drive into which your flash card has been inserted. Click on find files and within 60 seconds all of the files including deleted files that had been stored on that flash card will be listed before you. Now simply choose from that list any files you would like to save and File Finder will recover them to a new folder in any location of your choosing.
